When people say your being a “Sheep” is it derogatory? It can be for sure, but it also can be used to communicate understanding. The reason they are using sheep is because sheep are very docile animals. They simply graze the fields, minding their own business, only worried about eating and going wherever they are led by the shepherd. The shepherd’s job is to lead the flocks to areas known to have food and resources for the sheep (“The Harbinger” is a great story of a shepherd among other things”). Each shepherd usually has a “sheepdog”. The sheepdog helps watch the flock and make sure those that are not paying attention, because they are so focused on eating, do not wander away from the herd making them vulnerable to predators. If they wonder astray, the sheepdog wrangles them back up, all while watching for danger. A good sheepdog takes pride in protecting his flock, the good and bad sheep. It is constantly alert, watching to make sure it keeps the sheep safe and all together. Eventually, the shepherd takes the sheep to sell. At the market they are sold for a few things. Either meat, milk, wool, hides, and skins. The point is that they are all raised for something. The sheep live a normal life and seem to enjoy it. Being a sheep is not always a bad thing, it can be a wonderful life when you are led by a great shepherd and have a loving sheepdog there for support. Think about this for a few moments and put it into human perspective.
Which brings me to the Elephant! We all love elephants in some way or another. The elephants are exceptionally large, powerful and amazing animals. When born or raised in captivity, they are trained to stay in one place by a large rope or chain. When they are young, they are not yet strong enough to break the ropes or chains. They will try to escape by pulling, chewing on the ropes and chains, and trying to pull on the stakes, which seems impossible to get out of the ground. Inevitably they will succumb to the imprisonment and those devices become normal. When the ropes or chains are taken off, they will go about their lives as usual but are still willing to except being tied back to the rope or chain, time and time again. As the elephant matures, it is so accustomed to being restrained that it still assumes it cannot break it loose. It assumes that when restrained, it must obey the restrictions of the ropes and chains and therefore does not even try. This massive, intelligent, powerful animal could escape at any time, but it doesn’t believe it is strong enough (Read the short story “Elephant and the rope”). Because it was conditioned, it accepts the new life. So, it lives its life being restrained by such a small thing, something that is imprinted on its brain that it cannot achieve. Again, put this into perspective. The point to these stories is that we are all more than we believe. We are all someone, we are all more important than you could ever imagine. We all have our place and with the events going on we must stand up. So many people I have talked with say “but I am a nobody, no one cares what I post”, “I can’t make a difference”, “I can’t fix these problems”,”I’m not important enough for people to listen”. You are both right and wrong! You can’t fix them by yourself, but you can help fix them if we come together to take back our world. This is not about the United States, China, Italy or any other country for that matter. This is the time we all need to reset the world. The prime opportunity for the people to take back the power from big government and mostly big corporations. Just as all the commercials on TV (huge companies) went to some array of showing support and empathy for the populous because they think that is what we want or need to see. If we become loud enough, they will listen. We will get our politicians to listen and we will get our world back. Politicians need to listen to their people, and they will, when we come together and take our voice back. The companies will listen when we stand together. The problems are that we have become so uninvolved in the world and only focus on our own lives, that we do not take the time to tell them what we want or need, therefore they do not listen. We all “pass the buck” as they say and I revert to the statements people make “I’m a nobody”, “They won’t listen to me”. We all assume someone with more “clout” will stand up for us. Someone with more education or more money will make the right decision. We always think someone else who is better will fix our problems, you are that someone! America for example was built for the people, not the government nor business, hints the constitution. That single document, just old pieces of paper, is the only thing that has held us together thus far. It had to because we are not involved in anything going on. We do not research our politicians or elected officials, we simply go by what we see on TV or online and decide to vote that way, never knowing their true intentions or if they align with your beliefs. We have become so divided by Race, Gender, Political group and many other things and yet keep forgetting the one thing that brings us together. WE ARE HUMAN! None of those titles matters, not one of them. We have become groups/parties, within groups/parties. We try to be so different, yet we all bleed red, we all love, and most importantly we all are humans. Stop letting things tear us apart and start finding the similarities we all have within. Challenge – Find someone, literally anyone, and I will become their friend. You can and should too! I look at traits people have, not what they do not have. I am by far perfect and they aren’t either, that’s the beauty of it. We find it so easy to find something we dislike in someone instead of what we could like. There are many people in my life that I wasn’t fond of at first but as I understood them and their actions, I realized they were great people and I’m glad I didn’t give up on them just because of a difference of opinion or lifestyle. The crisis of COVID19 has devastated us all. As they say, “Don’t let a good crisis go to waste”. Let this be the trigger that sets us back on track. Sure, they lied about the numbers, they admitted it, and they lied about the real projections, they admitted that also. (NOTE- If you do not believe any information in this article. Please email [email protected] and I’ll make sure you have proof). They’ve lied or mislead us about so many things. They have even told you the truth at times and you were distracted by fear or inattentional blindness and did not hear or see it. ((Inattentional blindness is the failure to notice a fully-visible, but unexpected object because attention was engaged on another task, event, or object.)(ex: Bill Gates goal to reduce the population by vaccine. He literally just told you he was going to make you not able to freely have children)). They have censored frontline doctors who are helping the sick amongst many other things (EX: There was a YouTube roundtable with Drs trading information on what was and wasn’t helping their patients. They said the ventilators were causing more loss of oxygen once inserted). You must remember that advancements in science and medicine happen because one doctor, one scientist, one somebody discovered something that no one else did or saw. Every single advancement in science has happened that way. Now I am not writing this to criticize anyone on the information they have seen or heard. It hurts my heart and bothers me so much that you have not been provided with the correct information, either by misleading news articles or you just did not have the time to look into it. It is not your fault and I can’t blame you for this. I felt an overwhelming desire to help people with whatever it is going on. Most people do not have, nor take the time to fully research everything because of numerous reasons. Which is why I created www.vaccinatetheworld.com. To gather information, screen it for accuracy as best I could, to save it so it cannot be deleted. To put it all in one place, to shorten the hours of videos (which I highly recommend you watch the full length if you could make the time). To make it easy to find some stuff (If you have a specific question not answered, send an email and we’ll do our best to provide it). Everyone has family, children, friends that they care about and would do anything for and part of that doing anything should be staying informed on what could affect them. With the world changing, the debts growing, our great grandchildren are going to be paying and even more affected by this. If we keep going on with our lives, enjoying the free time, one day we will wake up and say why didn’t I see this coming? Why didn’t I or someone do something? That is what we are trying to provide but we need more people and more help. It is the only way it can be fixed. One reason I know it cannot be fixed any other way is because money cannot solve this issue. You could give everyone all money and resources they lost, across the world and we are still deep in this. This fear everyone has is the reason that this crisis cannot be fixed by money. The fear of possible death, the fear of the death of family member, it is all hard to overcome. Therefore, even with money, you cannot do the things we used to. You would not get on a plane with so people sitting so close and touching you. You would not go to the events or do those things you used to without the fear, whether subliminal or not, taunting your thoughts and effects how you spend money. It is going to be hard to overcome and we can only do this together, a big together. The government and big corporations can’t fix this and if they could, you can guarantee it won’t be in the peoples best interest. We must get accurate news. It does not matter if its CNN, FOX, or any news source. It should be factual to the best of their ability. Right, wrong or indifferent, the people deserve that. We deserve to have faith that we are being told the truth either way. Because they are all politically sided, left or right, conservative or liberal, and that should not matter. If we as citizens were able to widely mislead the public we would be and are censored, yet they can say, twist or lie about whatever, without being held accountable for their actions. If a Democrat screws up tell us, if a Republican screws up tell us (to be clear, we should not pride ourselves on a party, but on being a human). The parties constantly fighting, trying to divide everyone causes even more problems. Its literally like your parents having a huge fight in front of the kids. They make you feel like you should choose mom over dad or vice versa. They do not deserve to feel that way and neither do we. Every single article, on both sides, cannot tell a story without being derogative towards the other. They feel they cannot say Republican/Democrat without inserting an obnoxious adverb in front of it. The problem is no matter how you try to help, people will always try to tear it apart. Thinking you have some agenda, some monetary gain. Believe it or not, it might be rare, but there are good honest people amongst us. I am for sure flawed! My grammar and punctuation might be wrong, but that’s OK! I did not feel the need to have this proofread by a professor of language arts because its more than that. It is a message to the world, one that needs to be heard. Again, we all have flaws, we all have imperfections and there are people better at doing different things than us. Those differences are what makes us work more efficiently together. My weakness can be fixed by another’s strengths. With that being said, we need everyone to help with this. You all have a place to fill. You all can contribute and together we can stand up and take it back. If you want to help send an email to [email protected]. I want you to think of a few things because I see people are having tunnel vision and not seeing the big picture. Everyone right now is just staying at home, enjoying the free time, getting home projects done and doing things they forgot they loved. Everyone is focusing on their own priorities, their own issues and do not worry, all those things are completely normal. You are hopeful everything will eventually open back up and slowly go back to normal. I originally started thinking back in early March about how this will look. In a news interview, I told the reporter this - looking around at the big office buildings in Nashville I said, “those are the things people are not thinking about” pointing at the “batman building”. She said, “what do you mean?”. I went on about the buildings being empty. Those companies are seeing that they can get their people to work from home and accomplish the same goals and task. Why would a company pay $100k-$300k a month for office space when they can get a small office and save a huge amount of money now that they see it can and does work without an office? Why have some of those same companies let people go and still been able to get the job done with less people, ultimately saving money? Do you think they will bring them back knowing this? With just these two examples you have a company saving tons of money and reducing the number of employees thus saving more money. Then you have more people unemployed and now an empty office building. You can go on from there and look at who owns the office building and how many people they employ and how much money they are losing. Arenas, huge corporate event spaces that are normally full of conventions. Those now do not have events, therefore losing money and laying people off. Hotels that are extremely overly priced (Nashville for example) are not occupied because of the lack of events and they lose money and lay off people. The suppliers to those events, whether it be food, beverage or other product, same boat and the list goes on and on. Everyone, yes everyone is hurting or will be hurting by this in some fashion. When they closed businesses that were “non-essential” they caused something that will have an everlasting effect. Many can’t wait it out, they’ll run out of money, they can’t survive long enough to get people back to work and if they do, they wont have people coming to even fill the seats at restaurants, bars, sporting arenas, event spaces. The “essential companies” were almost all big corporations. Those boomed, especially stores like Home Depot/Lowes as people did extra projects out of boredom, putting small businesses even further behind. If the CMA Fest in Nashville were to magically be on again, would people come? Chances are the attendance would be exceptionally low (guessing 10-15% attendance with most of that being locals) compared to normal. If a concert, whoever that might be performing, happened in a month, would it be sold out as it always has been? Most people just look at it like the company will lose money, so what, but doesn’t think at ALL about the employees this hurts. People are looking at this like a localized event in their city, like the tornadoes that went through Nashville in March. They are thinking it destroyed businesses and houses, but they will repair and rebuild them, and soon it will open again, then people will start to flood back in as if it did not happen. Unfortunately, this is not the case, because this isn’t just Nashville, this is the world. I wrote this because I see things a little different than most. I look to see the bigger picture in all of this to include who and how things and people are affected. I couldn’t live happily with myself knowing I could have done something that could have potentially helped someone or gave them a chance. I had to let people know about all the issues at hand and I risked my own business, my family’s livelihood to do so. Although, your opinion of me does not bother me the slightest. All this is because I care about my neighbors, my family, your family and everyone in the world. I don’t want to see the neighbors down the street suffer, as we all shouldn’t! My name is Curtis Carney, I’m a small business owner, a veteran and I’m sure you can come up with a million other names both good and bad to add in there. Above all, I’m a somebody just like you, a somebody that is standing up looking for others. A somebody trying to help. Share it or hate it… either way if you made it this far you got my message! God bless us all!
